Zgrada BIGZ-a, nekadašnji biser srpske moderne je godinama stajao kao zapušteni spomenik nekih drugih „srećnijih” vremena. Potpuno spontano, u zgradu su se nedavno uselile grupe mladih beogradskih umetnika, stvarajući svoje prostore za kreativni rad. Ovo je priča o Beogradu za koji se nadamo da nije kasno.

The BIGZ building, one time the pearl of the Serbian modern, has stood for years as a neglected monument to some other “happier“ times. Absolutely spontaneously, groups of young Belgrade artists recently moved into the building making their own spaces for creative work. This is the story of Belgrade for which we think it's still not too late.

Mladen Petrović

Rođen u Beogradu 1971. godine. Diplomirao na Fakultetu dramskih umetnosti, na Katedri za filmsku i televizijsku produkciju. Bio na studijskim borav cima u Beču, Berlinu i Amsterdamu. Sarađivao je kao izvršni producent na projektima US Aid-a, Federacije crvenog krsta, Soros fondacije, Evropske Unije i InterNews-a, kao stringer za TV kuće RTL, EBU i ORF i organizovao radionice za novinare u nezavisnim elektronskim medijima (USIS). Jedan od dva osnivača Umetničko produkcijske grupe „Noć muzeja“. Dokumentarni filmovi na kojima je sarađivao kao producent i pomoćnik režije dobili su više od 20 međunarodnih nagrada.

Born in 1971 in Belgrade . Graduated from the Belgrade Faculty of Drama Arts at the Film and TV Production Department. He went on study trips to Vienna , Berlin and Amsterdam . As an executive producer collaborated at the projects of the US AID, Red Cross Federation, Soros Foundation, European Union and InterNews; as a stringer for TV houses RTL, EBU and ORF and organized workshops for journalists in independent electronic media (USIS). One of two founders of the art production group “The Night of Museums.“ Documentary films on which he was collaboration as a producer and assistant director were awarded with more than 20 international awards.
