About the Author:

Milan Belegisanin was born in 1955 in Novi Sad where he graduated from the Academy for Theatre and Film Directing in 1980. Federal and republic awards he got for plays “Juda Iskariotski“ (“Iscariot Judah“), “Kuca na granici“ (“House on the Border“), “Sledeci za raj“ (“The Next for Paradise“). For his documentaries “Krik“ (“Scream“), “Saputanje zivota“ (“Whispering of Life“), “Sva Gojkova blaga“ (“All Gojko’s Treasures“), he was awarded two gold and one silver medals for directing, as well as the award for the best scenario at the Belgrade Short Metre Festival. He published five prose books, among them “Okamenjene molitve“ (“Ossified Prayers“) that was in the selection for the NIN award 2001.
