Synopsis:

Novica is the nineteen-year old young man who wants to become the kafana musician like his father. But his father does not show understanding for such an idea. Rivalry between the father and Novica culminates before Novica’s tonsils surgery during a bet in which the witness is an attractive young nurse.

About the Author:

Petar Ristovski was born in 1986 in Belgrade. As a fourteen-year old boy he took part in the Republic Photograph Competition and became a double winner. In July 2005 he enrolled in the Faculty of Drama Arts, Film and TV Directing Department. He was a camera assistant at Goran Paskaljevic’s film “Optimisti“ (“Optimists“), and last year as a camera assistant and video control at Srdjan Dragojevic’s film “Sveti Georgije ubiva azdahu“ (“St. George Kills the Dragon“). He is currently the third year student. He made several short feature and intended films.
